Dr. N. Ramakrishnan

Biography
Dr. Ramakrishnan is an American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine & Sleep Medicine & also has a Master’s degree in Medical Management (MMM) from University of Southern California. He is a Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP), American College of Chest Physicians (FCCM), American College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM) and Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (FISCCM). He has been practicing Critical Care Medicine for over 18 years and Sleep Medicine for over 16 years. He is currently Senior Consultant in Critical Care & Sleep Medicine and Director, Critical Care Services for Apollo Group of Hospitals. He established Nithra Institute of Sleep Sciences in 2004 which is the first- of-its- kind freestanding comprehensive sleep center. The Institute prides itself with being the first institution to offer University affiliated post-doctoral fellowship in Sleep Medicine and also being the first Sleep Center to be accredited by National Accreditation Board of Hospitals and Healthcare Organizations (NABG).
Dr. Ramakrishnan is currently Vice Chancellor of Indian College of Critical Care Medicine, the academic wing of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine. He is the Immediate Past President of Indian Sleep Disorders Association (ISDA) and has been involved in designing the Indian Diploma in Sleep Medicine.
He was honored with fellowship amongst the first group of Sleep Medicine specialists in 2011 and also received Philips ISDA Oration. Dr. N. Ramakrishnan is keen on educating healthcare professionals and the general public on sleep problems and has authored books in Tamil and participates in healthcare awareness programs of print and visual media.

Dr. Swagata Tripathy has done MD Anesthesia & Intensive Care. She also completed Certificate Course in Pallitive Medicine ( IAPC), European Diploma in Intensive Care (ESICM), Indian Diploma in Intensive Care (ISCCM), Fellowship in Neuroanesthesia & Neurocritical Care- Walton Centre of Neurosciences, Liverpool, UK. (RCOA), Diplomate of National Board Anestheiology & MD Anesthesia & Intensive Care PGIMER Chandigarh 1994-2000- MBBS Utkal University.

Dr. Swagata Tripathy is currently working as Associate Professor in Department of Anesthesia at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. She has established / improved Emergency and Critical Careservices in all previous places of work. At AIIMS took up QI initiative in ICU- Improved Resource Utilisation by > 150%; Decreased Hospital Acquired Infection by >40% over last 2 years.

Biography
Neill Adhikari is an intensivist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and assistant professor in the Interdepartmental Division of Critical Care Medicine and Institute for Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation, University of Toronto. His undergraduate medical training was at McGill University, followed by residency training in internal medicine, respirology, and critical care medicine at McGill, University of Manitoba, and University of Toronto. He has a MSc in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University. His research interests include critical care delivery in under-resourced settings and clinical trials. He is co-PI of a trial of vitamin C for sepsis and a second trial of blood pressure targets for vasodilatory shock. He co-leads the Toronto-Addis Ababa Academic Collaboration in Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Rob Fowler

Biography
Rob Fowler is critical care physician, H. Barrie Fairley Professor of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Toronto, chief of the Tory Trauma program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Chair of the Canadian Critical Care Trials Group.
Rob’s clinical and academic focus includes access and outcomes of care for critically ill patients and infection-related critical illness. He has assisted or worked with the World Health Organization during SARS, pandemic and avian influenza, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, Ebola outbreaks in Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo and with the COVID-19 pandemic.
